Ill tip my hat in this..Colder days in the mornings now here in the valley (under 50 most mornings) and this was for church this past weekend.. the jacket is vintage cashmere/silk S.C from my uncle who gave it up being he had not worn it in over 25 years and had gained too much weight to wear it.. so I had to give it too my tailor to totally re-cut it too fit..so it has been one of my go to for cold weather wear for over 5 years..the tie and flannel pants are from my man Snoogz..

Very kind of you FM, thanks. I have more than my share of black shoes, worn regularly for certain work domains, so thought I might be the lone black suede poster for a little variety. As said elsewhere on these boards not everyone's cup of tea, so an alternative, and one i like.

Nonetheless, be good to see your offering as ever. Here if you can or over on WAYWRN of course :D

Don't worry about what people think you know I have a lot of love for those black suede whole cuts.I am hoping to rock my very soon.

I am echoing on FM our outfit is going to be hard to beat.

Regarding black suede. I have two pairs of black shoes. One chelsea boot and the cap toes above. I just got into the suede shoe game this summer with two pairs - dark brown and polo.
Cleav showed us why a pair of black suede dress shoes are a good investment. Thank you!

My posting yesterday is my official entry into the Friday Challenge for this week - the shot below is merely an alternate solution to this design problem. I would have worn a bow tie with this ensemble, but none which I own worked, and, as much as an ascot might be the proper finishing touch (and as much as today is Halloween, a day for costumes), I decided that an ascot would make me look like an asc-hole - hence the open neck.

My un-official entry, then . . .

Ya'll brought out the big guns for this one so I had to try to follow suit. Wife was home for picture taking so we went out on the roof. Superb fits in here guys - will be returning for inspiration! :nodding:
