Well, since I seem to be the only one who appreciates his BS period, here's a short and sweet one from Last Time Around:

BTW, When I was in college, BS broke up and Richie formed Poco with Messina. They went on tour and stopped by my college. I went to the concert and was blown away. I had never heard a steel guitarist that good and never knew that a steel guitar could sound like an organ at times.

I won't flame you for that one. The Band is my all time favorite group along with the Clash.

For me it's The Band and Talking Heads. I was just spinning Big Pink last night.

There is not a band Young was involved with that I don't have high on my favorites list and no period or style of his that I don't love. But the single best concert I've seen in my life was Neil Young and Crazy Horse. They just rocked the shit out of the place.

tony: I agree. In fact, I grew very tired of CSN. Gave their record away. Still have Deja Vu though. Neil added that extra something that was missing in CSN.
