Do you know of any new Blu-Ray and/or HD DVD external/internal burners being prepped for an intro in the last 2 quarters of '07 ?
Toshiba demoed a HD DVD burner way back in 01-07 @ the CES show in Vegas that never materialized into anything.
From the Blu-Ray camp SONY only briefly would offer a pair of VAIOs ( north of $2K ) and a notebook ( $3k) with recording capability. Perhaps because the integration with the new Vista was said to have been rather half-assed; producing glitches galore.
Since then SONY has got only one model on the market. Slim notebook ( under 16" ) retailing south of $1900.
Other than that, we're looking @ a complete ficken wasteland
