All right lads, thoughts on the CL draw? Predictions? We've drawn Madrid, but IMO it could've been worse. British squads face some tough competition: Celtic/Barca, 'Pool/Inter, ManU/Lyon, Arsenal/Milan and Chelsea/Olympiakos. Fenerbahce/Sevilla and Schalke/Porto round it off.

Barca
Inter
Lyon
Arsenal
Chelsea
Fenerbahce
Schalke 04

.........Roma!

Brilliant draw for the neutrals out there. The following matches are mouth-watering:

Liverpool / Inter
Roma / Real
Arsenal / Milan
Celtic / Barcelona

So hard to pick the winners. I think Celtic may have a good chance to pull an upset.

all this is just a worthless delay...

we all know that AC Milan will get the cup ... resistance is futile

We are world champions, Forza Milan !

You are not seriously suggesting Lyon will beat Utd are you? Lyon were a threat 2 years ago but since then they have lost Diarra(Madrid) Essien(Chelsea) Abidal(Barca) and Malouda(Chelsea).Thats just off the top my head.

I hit a dilemma when Man Utd play Everton, as I don't like either. However, yesterday I was hoping Everton held on for a draw and then Pienaar did something you rarely see outside of kid's football and in the 89th minute! What an idiot!

Sod the Champions League right now. Got lots of Football before those games! Looking forward to the Boxing day matches, even if it will be the day after here. I'm glad I'm not working.

Can't believe Ashley Cole is protesting his Red card, has to be one of the most obvious hand balls with intent you'll see this season. As for the Champions League I think Liverpool (My team) will struggle with inconsistency but Arsenal could be a dark house and upset some of the favorites. Real and Inter according to current form will dominate along with (I hate to say this) Man U. AC Milan, Lyon & Chelsea have no chance.

Unfortunately due to my location and crap coverage I haven't been able to see the Derby game, I can't believe we only just scraped a win though! Watched Man City today, they will probably feel hard done to as Dunne was offside and went for the ball when Santa Cruz scored the equaliser. I actually thought it hit Cole's chest, even after seeing the replay. Shows how everyone sees the game differently! Still, Chelsea do get decisions their way all the time, especially at home; Zat Knight didn't deserve to be sent off for a shoulder charge (Ballack diving bastard), Joe Cole was already going down for the Ballack free kick. The Knight sending off changed the dynamic of the game, which made it great to watch but annoying too, as Villa were so comfortable. Plus the guy they brought on at centre back was absolutely awful. Anyway, lot's of games to watch this weekend plus all the A league for me, probably not going to see much of the outside world, haha.

Rye you may disagree buy I really do think that Kewell is a massive waste of space. Man City defended well today and we lacked the cutting edge, Gerrard was poor too but man, Kewell is utter shite, why does he persist with him!

Transfer window is open. Anything interesting?

Anelka to Chelsea for 14 or 15m #s. I'm honestly confused because I don't know his history well enough, but wasn't he considered a tempter tantrum sort of player who no one liked? He was playing in England for a while and then went to like Fefernache or somewhere for a while. Then where, Bolton? Now Chelsea. Has he improved so much and gotten over his attitude problem? Or did he never really have one?

Oh, and the MLS turned down a 2m $ offer from Preston North End for Taylor Twellman. I'm sure he's thrilled to have his chance at a comeback in Europe denied by the MLS. Or maybe not. He may be good domestically but he's shit for the national team.

Anelka seems to have settled down at bolton and hes consistently scored goals for them, seems a good choice for Chelsea considering their injuries and stuff.
