Tadino Store Ties - Spanish made - Ratings from buyers needed

Thread Starter

Dear SF Readers,

Wondering if anyone has any experience with ties purchased from "Tadino Store"? I believe the ties are made in Spain and appear to be of good quality from the pictures shown. Prices vary between 59 euro and up but worldwide free shipping is included on any purchase above 49 euro, which may make it worthwhile to try.

I was actually interested in buying a tie from them, especially with free shipping.

Where can you buy ties offering the best value for your money?

Not the best high-end quality, but like Luxire for custom shirts, Meermin for shoes etc.

I have one. I am a deft hand at knots, and I of all my neckties, my Tadino is the only one that does not knot well. I once tried over and over again (which I've never had to do for any other tie) to get it to dimple before giving up on it and switching to another tie.

A few months later, I gave it another whirl. Managed to get it to dimple after a few tries. Within an our of wearing, the dimple collapsed into a mess.

(the dimple here looks better than it is. The right edge of the tie along the dimple looks like it's folded over, but it's basically just the edge there)

It depends on the type of tie you want, but for knits, I've heard good things about Knottery. Generally, it's best just to pick up ties on sale rather than looking for the Meermin of neckties.
