Gents,
I have located a US-based distributor of C&J Tetbury's in C&J in brown nubuck with dainite sole only. This distributor is open to providing a discount for a group buy of at least 5 pairs. Indicative pricing would in the neighborhood of $350 (or less depending on level of interest) + shipping.

Half sizes available from uk 6-12 in E-width only. 348 last. First quality with boxes/shoe bags.

Please PM me with serious commitments if you're interested.

And I just bought the exact style from PLAL a month ago.

I need 2-3 more commitments to proceed. Indicative pricing would be ~$50 less than Plal.

OK, update time.

Final price will be $360 shipped in conUS. As of now, I need 1 more person to make the 5 order minimum.

PM me if you want these boots!

Dr No, I just saw your offer organize a group purchase of C&J shoes. Good on ya!

Dr No, If you decide to put together another syndicate, please let me know. In fact, that Tetbury model might look nice in dark brown suede!

Cheers

Did anyone get their boots yet? I'm still waiting for mine, though I was added late to the order.

I finally got the shoes, and I've noticed that they scuff pretty easily. What's the best way to care for them? The finish is almost waxy, so my instinct is to use dubbin, but that's a pretty much irreversible decision. What's everyone else doing, assuming that you're wearing them

Is the leather on those boots really nubuck? Any nubuck I've ever seen has had a nappy finish--not as pronounced in this way as suede, but definitely a fine nap, and not a smooth burnished finish, which is how these boots look on my monitor.

Just use regular wax polish and after a few applications, the nubuck will "settle down" and the scuffing will become less prevalent (though will still happen). Do NOT apply creams.
