Beautiful store, great people and good shit. The whole staff is real cool and they have about 90% of the line so far. Two ladies were very welcoming in particular and I was offered a couple glasses of champagne while I was there to loosen the grip on my cc. So much good stuff this season, tried on the tweed trench, beaver coat (felt like socal for a minute) but my money was on a primary green distorted neck v neck which I picked up. I'll probably go back to pick up the light grey with sateen houndstooth button up and two tone scarf.

Glad it's finally here.

Nah, light grey with covered placket, fits bomb. The houndstooth is very subtle and you can't see it until you get close. Shit was 325.

They also had some dope scarves, the motorcyle jacket in shearling, all the blazers and suits along with artisanal shit too. Womens shit was dope too.

Oh, the duffle is ridiculous might have to pick that up at 50 off when it happens.

So is the store... ordinary? In Tokyo, the whole place looks like they're renovating and doing a paint job, walls seems like they've torn down and stuff (bags etc) been painted over and the whole staff's walking around in white lab coats. Really cool, but I haven't visited any other Margiela store so I dont' know if they have this theme throughout...

To the best of my knowledge all Margiela houses have employees in lab coats and other assorted niceties.

Enjoy your new LA store guys

Went to the opening party last night and it was kinda nice. Lots of booze and hor'derves endlessly going around. The parking lot was covered in white astroturf with a couple large truckes draped in white sheets as well. Small cushions and glass tables set up outside with a little 4 person orchestra and music playing throughout the store. The two sides of the building are covered in sequins and there were images/videos being projected onto one side. Some nice breezecakes there too man you straight dudes would have loved it. Some of the new york employees flew intoo for some strange reason.
