Nice molded room dividers from the Knoll showroom. Amazing. Are those images from the Jansen book?

Professor, did you go through Palm Springs on your way to San Diego? There is quite a variety of mid-century stuff in the desert. I love the sun-baked landscapes, clean lines of late modernism and the vertical spines of the SoCal palm trees.

Stick it to Loos?

Loos was a dandy based on austerity though I dare say he had his decorative flourishes, but he justified them as being "natural".

It seems that during that time period, wall sculptures were popular. You also saw them on exterior house walls.

LS, did you know that Gustav had a son? I met Gustav's daughter-in-law when I lived in Taos, NM. She had great stories.
