This is going to be sacrilegious, but I think Vox's buttoning point could be lower, he could use a little more room in the chest (bowing lapels on both suits), and finally, his sleeves could be tapered slightly more. A slightly higher shirt collar wouldn't look bad either. Colours and combinations are impeccable, although one could say that a white shirt and grey grenadine are too formal for
a BlazerSuitTM.
The other stuff could be true (Much depends on camera angle and body stance.), but I didn't see anything about that suit that might indicate it was a blazersuit.

Patch pockets, swelled edges, and light brown buttons. I could be mistaken, but I thought those were the hallmarks of a blazersuit?

unbel, it would be great to see that entire fit of yours. I like your choice of square given the jacket. It compliments the jacket nicely.

Let me acknowledge then the categorical status of white dotted ties with suits/city, regardless of scale.

The iGent principle it seems is that you can cross categories (city to country) if the scale is large enough or textures are sufficiently "casual".

E.g. members have been sporting large scale neats with SCs. I've come to not be bothered by that in the way that small scale neats in a non suit/city fit bother me.

I simply note this to state two "principles" that conflict. I do not use "iGent" pejoratively.

Thanks...it's too long ago for me to remember what else I was wearing, but I'm guessing it was something like gray flannels and cordovan wingtips.

Ah, now that I click the spoiler, I see that one of the two suits had those features. I was only seeing the grey suit you left unspoilered.

Actually...

T4 graduated, but hasn't landed a job yet. Something to do with the background check.

Ed got a job, but never graduated. The clock ran out.

The suggestion that Vox could use a taller collar seems not to account for all of that collar band showing beneath the tie.
