Today: I received a bottle of Dunhill for Men (Dunheeel, but let's carry on)...I tried it last night and thought...no way can I wear this in this heat. Maybe next week if the temperatures drop.

Today, though...Mugler Cologne.

My favorite Vetiver! Of course, I'm not surprised to see you wearing it; we always end up liking the same stuff.

I haven't felt well today, so it's one of the first days in years and years I've gone nearly a full day with no fragrance.

I love that stuff. I need a full bottle now that I've used up my two sample sprayers. I also went through a bottle of the shower gel and that was some fantastic, pungent soap.

Dunhill for Men. I'm having a manouche moment here: it opens very very well, and then gets spicy, heavy, and unacceptable for summer wear. I guess it would be fine for winter, but I can't see this getting much more than occasional use.

GREEN WATER by Jacques Fath

Dunhill again, but different circumstances: chilly, damp, dreary. Much better.

It just snowed for the first time here, so I don't feel bad wearing my cloyingly sweet scents. A*Men Pure Coffee today. Was lucky to find a bottle at Saks.

I'm on my last few sprays of this one I bought 3 years ago. Funny, of the 4 I bought that year, this is the first one to go.

Today, I'm going for Lubin's Idole-- It's a spicy, rummy exotic fragrance.

I really like the subtlety and composition of this fragrance. Unfortunately as with most citrus fragrances it doesn't last long on my skin.

One of the things I love about Saturdays is that I get to wear L'Artisian L'Eau du Navigateur- all cinnamon and boozy leather, with the odd hint of burnt timber. Definitely off-kilter.

Gendarme. I know it's much maligned in these parts, but I love it.

The VE shower gel is quite good. Leaves a nice scent in the room:-) YSL's M7 also has a good shower gel, if you can still find it.

^^^ I've heard that about M7 but I've never found the gel. Dug deep into my old decants and found Santal Noble. I haven't worn this for at least a year. It's a little heavy for me I enjoyed the nostalgia of reaquainting myself with an old friend.
