I wore Vendetta today. Forgot I was going to try and wear Iquitos - maybe tomorrow.

Today: Knize Ten. With jeans and a stripey amjack-ish shirt. and cowboy boots. It's an ironic Friday.

maybe Sisley's Eau de Campagne, Trumper's fern or something,

You know, I don't think I understand what is meant by "green".

I hear it often about Guerlain's Vetiver and sometimes about Divine l'Homme Sage, but neither strikes me as green. Oromonde Jayne Isfarkand does, as in the green of ferns and redwoods. Guerlain Vetiver and l'Homme Sage are more like the color of dried sage.

I used to have a bottle of this one; I agree it's quite a nice one... low key, crisp, and fresh.

Hmmm... I wonder... "cherry candy?" Doesn't sound like Cuir Amethyste or Ambre soie. Maybe the Jasmine one?

I suppose it's a very high level classification. I didn't really know the difference between green and woody before, but my impression of green is that it's sort of smells like lush plants, so fresh but no through fruits (citrus), or soaps, etc. Just very "botanical" sort of smells.

Hrm, I think there only are 4 (maybe 6?) in the collection. I've got the Soie at home so I'll check it against that. I remember one of them being quite citrusy... anyway, I guess I'll see when the box comes round. today, started with Bvlgari Aqua Later in the evening out to a formal function, went with TF Tuscan leather... Not too sure if it's too mature for a 24 year old...?

L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme This is gooooood!!!!!!!!!!
Jil Sander Feeling Man First (probably last) time wearing it as it smells kinda "cheap" to me. Any recs for something with a stronger tobacco note? And I must say, many thanks rach, the decants/Jil are entirely responsible for my interest in frags.

Gucci Pour Homme (the original one)
L'artisan Parfumeur Tea for Two
Comptoir Sud Pacifique Peach Vanille

Also, winter is a great time to wear Amber-heavy scents, too...
