Going back to Fresh Cannabis Santal today. I think I may have to finally pick up a bottle of this.

What do people think of L'eau D'Issey Summer?

Jean Paul Gauthier Le Male.

If you're referring to this one, very long lasting, very big sillage.

How is the smell for that? I was actually asking about Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Summer, but I'm looking for a nice summer fragrance that won't cost me too much. I looked up the ones that willpower suggested, and the ones I want are too expensive.

it makes me so sad that cologne/perfume gives me such a giant headache.

The one above is a powerful fresh scent. Strong citrusy floral notes. I was amazed at how long it lasted on a card I had sprayed it on, literally 4 days later it was still going strong. I know they have it at Bloomingdale's. There's no way you could get through a bottle in just one summer. http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/I...-Men-5901.html

How does it compare to the original L'Eau D'Issey? I'm not sure which one I want to buy, but I only want to get one. I think I would try the C&S Neroli or Acqua di Parma if I had more money to spend.

Lighter, fresher than the original. Geo F Trumper Portugal smells a lot like C&S Neroli at 1/3rd the price. Big burst of Neroli/Orange Rind opening. Not as long lasting as the Issey stuff, but nothing is. http://www.shoplondons.com/portugal1.html

All of them do? Even applied lightly? That sucks...

yeah. :/

Today: Guerlain Homme. It's okay, but if the bottle went away tomorrow I doubt I'd miss it at all.

BubblyMasquerade: I was going to offer suggestions, but if you're getting headaches, testing them is probably not high up on your fun-things-to-do list. There are probably some naturals that wouldn't be so aggravating, but...again, the headaches make it not worth the trouble.

Out of curiosity: how do you deal with detergent and fabric softener?

Of course, one might assume a shower will reduce its lasting power. This one's for Buff!

Indeed, you are correct. And of course skin evaporation is different than paper. It's still tenacious. I wish I liked it enough to wear.
