Sounds good to me. Now if only I could find a store that sells YSL stuff besides L'Homme, Opium, and Jazz.

I had the same idea but when I offered up samples earlier in the thread I didn't get much interest. I thought an SF sample box would be a cool thing. Get it, take what you are interested in, put in shit you don't want, and send it to the next person. RE: Straight Razors - I've got a disposable straight but I have yet to sit down to learn. My face and I don't get along very well so I've resigned to using a clipper with a trimmer blade to get as close as possible without actually shaving.

I have a bottle if you're interested.

Just bought Burberry London today. The SA was trying to push some boring ass Lacoste junk on me. Hey do any of you guys have basenotes accounts? Kinda curious what you guys have.

Interesting wardrobe Dane. Trying the TF Noir de Noir again today. I think this is another loser.

Classy stuff, Dane and Thomas. I see you both have Bulgari Black, I might pick it up soon.

Good choice. Don't buy retail though. Interwebz are much cheaper.

It took me a few tries to 'get' it. First time, I was...wtf??? After a while the rubber/powder/smoky tea/vanilla seems natural. Should be able to score a bottle on basenotes for not too much lucre.

Ditto...tricky one to understand. Apparently it's "Angelina's" fav.

I'm surprised you don't have more "women's" scents...seems like most of my wardrobe is, but yours are mostly men's. Interesing.

I guess we're the only ones sharing????

Believe it or don't - a lot of my collection is rather happenstance. LOTS of blind-buys (Antaeus, Pour Monsieur, Yatagan), samples turn up - or even unexpected bottles (Black, Dreamer, Habit Rouge). In some cases I read a good review and had to try or even buy, if samples were not forthcoming (Habit Rouge Legere, Azuree, Lauder for Men). Some swaps, and at least a few of the bottles came along for the ride, which explains Sunset Heat, Apparition, and Ho Hang (gaaah.) For the most part, any new additions are chosen largely because it's not yet been reviewed on pdp.

Not that anyone cares but here's my modest wardrobe: http://www.basenotes.net/wardrobe/30665

I'm wearing Calvin Klein Man today. Probably the worst cologne I've ever tried. It's just straight citrus from beginning to end. I bought it since it was only $10 with my Burberry London, total waste of money.
