I wore TF Oud Fleur today. It's just what the name suggests, but it's also quite resiny, which imparts a thick, viscous texture that I enjoy a lot.

Santal 33 is an excellent scent. I'd have just about every Le Labo if they were cheaper.

Tonight I am wearing Iris Silver Mist.

Yep, same here. I'm also a big fan of their Rose 31.

Dries van Noten par FM today. Mostly sandalwood with a bit of tonka creaminess. This is a really good office scent.

I've been wearing this one a lot this week. I like it, but stand by my mini-review above. I also think that... as is often the case with "good" and not "great" scents... that it grabs you hard in the opening/mid and then fizzles out/lets down at the end. It's like they put all the emphasis into giving you "love at first sniff" while not caring much where you finish. For $225, yes, you want a happy ending.

Today I am wearing L'Air du Desert Marocain. I find it interesting how I've acquired all these fragrances and then reLize that so many of them are heavy on either the cardamom or coriander.

I'm pretty close to where you are on this one. I'd say I'm at like it a lot but not love.

Today I'm wearing TF Noir de Noir. This is also a rose/oud scent, but it's much richer and less aggressive, with a dark chocolatey vibe. I enjoy this quite a bit on my skin, but what I really love is when I come back to my office after having been away for a bit and smelling it in the air. I think it sometimes requires distance like that to get a proper perspective on a fragrance.

Have you guys tried many of Bruno Fazzolari's works? He's just fantastic; a real student of perfumery with an excellent nose. I'm wearing Au Dela tonight, which is a classic chypre like Mitsouko but through a modern lense. There's a leanness to it, almost, if you can imagine, as if Jean Claude Elena made a chypre without IFRA restrictions and that fragrance was in parfum extrait strength.
