Huh, I'm working my way through the collection and have a 100ml bottle of this one... and I think my conclusion is it's great but not for me... so if anyone's interested in a bottle, lemme know. I used to be a SA for Byredo so can assure you it's all good. Previous edition with a slightly different cap, and box, 90/100ml (will keep a 10ml decant for nostalgia). Will ship worldwide.

Today I'm wearing Morabito Or Black.

What do you think of it?

Sampling Malle's Une Rose today. Another one I'm surprised to not know (though I may have sniffed it briefly in a store some time back). I think I somehow lumped this with Lipstick Rose in my memory, which was silly because they're so totally different. It's built around a big, juicy rose note. My first impression is that it's somewhere between the fresh, green, rose of Sa Majesty la Rose, and the wet earthy elements of Voleur de Roses. That's a good thing - I like both of those scents. And its n't as heavy or spicy as Portrait of a Lady, or the Montale oud rose scents, but it is very strong. I spritzed twice on my chest and I feel like I might be self conscious going out in public with my scent at this volume. I'll use a lighter touch next time.

Today I have chosen Cheeteau

I'm wearing Hermann à Mes Côtés Me Paraissait Une Ombre, which is the latest ELDO. It's a sheer, light, somewhat sour frankincense scent that opens with blackcurrant. It's a little reminiscent of Avignon in that it has a wet stone feel. It's not really the kind of scent I enjoy, but I try everything that ELDO releases.

Sounds like an ELDO I can finally like!

I suspect a lot of the regulars here would like Hermann more than I do.

EDIT: The longevity on this one is really excellent.

Geranium PM today. My samples of Lonesome Rider arrived today, so you already know my next SOTD.
SOTD is L'artisan Fou D'Absinthe. Started off sweeter than I remember. Has moved into a green dry spices almost creamy barbershop direction. I guess I always thought of this as rather 'green' but I'm seeing it now as more spicey ie 'brown/black'. Sort of like Azzarro and Rive Gauche with a vetiver added, give or take. Still not sure I love it, but something I could grow into in 10 years when I'm 40

I sprayed it on a blotter yesterday and liked it, but it seemed to me that it could disappear quickly.
Today I wore Tubereuse Criminelle.

As I mentioned just above, the longevity is really very good. I was surprised by that.

Today I wore True Lust Rayon Violet de Ses Yeux. I'm a big fan of this one.

Today I'm wearing Amouage Fate Man.

Fate Man is wonderful. I'm also a big fan of Fate Woman.

Today I am wearing Tauerville Amber Flash.
