I would be wearing CdG Avignon, but USPS couldn't deliver my foreign shipment, and sent it back to france, only for them to send it back to me. Its gaining global travel i could only dream of.

Today is Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Cuir et Champignon. A fantastic earthy leather that doesn't get the love it deserves.

I've been away from the thread for quite a spell because I've been traveling and then racing to prepare for the new semester. So I'll give the recent rundown:

Monday: Une Fleur de Cassie got the first day of semester honors.
Tuesday: Eau d'Hermès
Today: Lyric Man by Amouage.

Funny, because it was stinking hot here today - 44C. I guess that makes SMW a good all-rounder.

1725 today. I bought this blind at a sale because reviews I read compared it to IB and Sartoriale, two of my favourites. It is very good, although maybe not as long-lived as IB.

Amouage Fate Man for me today. It's two most prominent notes are two of my favorites: cumin and immortelle. And so not surprisingly, this is one of my favorite scents.

Another worth trying in that genre is MFK Masculin Pluriel, which I prefer to 1725.

I am wearing TFPB Tobacco Oud today.

Today I wore Geranium Pour Monsieur, but this evening, since it is blustery and raining, I put on Jules.

Did anybody get onto the 50% off Memoir Man at Strawberrynet today? Sold out in 40 minutes.

Anyway, I wore Tumulte yesterday because the weather was quite cool and I felt like a bit of wood and spice. This one is what I want in a fragrance: it's a very pleasant scent, lasts well, doesn't inflict itself on my fellow-workers and the bottle design and packaging are great.

Today, the sun is back so I have gone for Hugh Parsons Hyde Park. I've sampled a few of this range, including Regent St and Whitehall, but this is the pick of their line for me.

On another note, I don't know if I mentioned my recent op shop finds. The quite rare YSL Vice Versa with just a little juice left and a full bottle of vintage Stetson in its box.

I am "rockin' the house" so to speak in my Venetian Bergamot.

Vintage Stetson, eh? You know, I feel like I can still accurately imagine the smell of Stetson even after 30 years.

On Friday I wore Satori Iris Homme and in the late evening I put on some Fahrenheit. The latter is definitely hit-or-miss for me.

What's it like? Would you wear it today?

I had another find yesterday. I was rooting around one of those baskets they have with all the shampoo and soap mini-bottles from hotels and so on, and I unearthed two little bottles of Le Labo Bergamote 22 shower gel.

Cartier- Declaration D'un Soir

I like it a lot, but do not wear it often.

Cheers,

Has anyone had experience with Eau de Vetyver ny Givenchy - the Original concoction from 1959.
Where could one source this?
I understand its better than the re release.
Anyone have any comments or thoughts on this.
I'm a huge fan of Guerlain Vetiver ( original)

Monsieur Balmain today, a ripper in the heat. Real truth in advertising with this one: a lemon-coloured box, a lemon-coloured bottle and, guess what?!
