I thought it was L'Inc in drag.
I'm sure I would not be that "adorbs" in drag.

I took m-c's advice and dug out my Terralba sample. There is a cedary opening to this, but it’s cut by a little bit of lemon. It has an oceanic note that I can’t quite place, which reduces the woodsiness a bit. Some herbal green notes emerge later as well. It probably is an OK summer choice, but it did fade fairly quickly, lasting only about six hours.

Today/tonight I wore vintage Chanel No 19 eau de cologne. Just a beautiful fragrance from which I get something different each time. Well, this is a rare formulation since each concentration (parfum, EdP, EdT, and EdC) is not just a matter of concentration but of formulation as well, so of course I'd get something different depending on the era as well. This one is from the 1980s.

Did you get a new fragrance today?

SOTD was Jul et Mad Garuda, which is a very pleasant patchouli and oud scent.
SOTE is Sarrasins, which is a wonderfully indolic jasmine. Definitely not for everybody, as with many Lutens, but I like it a lot.

No, didn't get a damn thing.

Tried on Le Labo's The Noir 29 today at Barneys. I really like it.

What y'all think of Tom ford tobacco vanille?
^^ It's very well done. It's exactly what the name says, but there's also some dried fruit notes that I like a lot. It's also quite a compliment getter.

SOTD is Styleforum favorite Rubj edp. I'm a big fan.
SOTE is Amouage Sunshine, a cough syrupy, almondy, vanilla white floral. I like this quite a lot.

Styleforum favorite eh L'inc? Three people count as a whole forum fav? (Myself being one)

Today is Amber Absolute thanks to @Master-Classter

I've tried Tobacco Vanille once on myself and once on paper. It's not my style, really, but it's certainly not bad. I just don't like sweet fragrances nor vanilla. I think of Musc Ravageur as another one that I'd probably like if not for the dominant vanilla note.
I think Ravageur is supposed to be tonka in the base

Lotus, as long as you're testing/smelling the line, also try Tobacco Oud. It's the raw earthy spicey tobacco leaf part of TV but not the vanilla part (I find it dries down to a soft vanilla and personally prefer the spicier opening parts)

OK, now that you mention it,'I don't like tonka either. Three years ago I had the chance of buying two bottles of Tonka Imperiele for $25 each. I thought why would I spend even $1 on something that I don't like at all.

Someone should do a Big Data analysis of this thread to see how much overlap there is between the regulars in terms of favorite fragrances. My sense is that we're a pretty diverse bunch. So if three people are big fans of a scent, I think that qualifies informally as "Styleforum favorite."

Pre-shower: Amouage Epic Woman. I'm not a big fan of the peppery opening, but the later stages are excellent.
SOTD: Oud Ispahan. I like this, but it is just a little too rich for my taste.
