Today I am wearing TF Bois Rouge which has been discontinued. Its unfortunate because I rather like it. I tested jasmine rouge as well and found it a little too feminime for my tastes but this bois rouge is nice.

Edit: After some reading I found some people compare this to Habit Rouge which I can see but this is a softer, sweeter version of it. More vanilla and amber.

SOTD is Like This Tilda Swinton. This is one of my favorite scents in any genre.

Tonight I'm wearing a sample of Paestum Rose on my left wrist - it is a wet rose predominantly with incense and artemesia. A very good fragrance, but I just don't know if I can pull off rose.

SOTE is Iris Poudre. This is an old-fashioned powdery, sweet iris. It's a bit too sweet for my taste.

Amouage Beloved man today. It kinda seems like a cross between Interlude and Memoir so far. Ill have to do a smell check tonight to see if my hunch is correct.

Hi there,

New to this thread; new to fragrance world too.

I am wearing Zizan by Ormonde Jayne today.

My impression is a good one: earthy, exotic with good silage (5+ hours).

The compliments received are numerous and while they are not expected confirm for me it is a well crafted scent.

SOTD is Creed Spice & Wood. It's horribly overpriced at retail, and doesn't bowl you over right away. After you wear it several times, you realize how good it is. I will never be without it in my fragrance wardrobe so long as I can get a split.

Today is YSL La Nuit De L'Homme...a nice go to for an overcast, chilly fall, east coast vibe

Today it's Jo Malone Black Vetyver Cafe. Nice, simple, and gone too soon. Will probably keep my decant but would never buy a bottle.

Yesterday, another stinking hot day. Desperately seeking a summer fragrance, I went with Blenheim Bouquet. I don't wear this much, tending to prefer a few other Penhaligon's, but I enjoyed it. I'm astounded how well it stood up in the heat. A day later, I can still smell it on my wrist.

So today will be 41C (106F). It is my anniversary, and we are going to a restaurant. Since it's an occasion, I need something special, but suitable for blistering summer heat, with a bit of lasting power. I've chosen DS & Durga's Italian Citrus.

don't remember if we discussed this or not but Dreamer, have you tried Masque Milano Terralba?

Not that one. The only Masque fragrance I've tried is Russian Tea. I think I have a sample of Terralba somewhere, I will dig it out.

Welcome to our two new posters in this thread!

Pre-shower: MFK Oud.
SOTD: TF London. This is a sweaty, spicy oud that I like a lot.

L'Incandescent just curious, is your newish avatar a photo of the singer Lykke Li?

I had to look her up to find out who she was!

No, my avatar is a photo of Lyla Foy.
