Would you consider "it was on sale" to be a sufficient defense?

tsk tsk. Consumerism at it's best...

(So... now that you own it, what do you think?)

Today: Vol de Nuit - I'm hungover like a mofo and need this comfort scent. To me, this is such a masculine fragrance.

I made saffron risotto last night and was thinking about Safran Troublant - what a great scent that I need in my life.

It's great.  It doesn't project very much but it lasts for a long time on my skin.  It's a little reminiscent of CDG Hinoki but a little sweeter and more musky.  Retail price is a little excessive, but I got mine on a split at Basenotes for about $150 for 50 ml, that seems like a good deal to me.

Looks like I have been unjustly accused (albeit by myself). It was Duc de Barry that I bought. Case dismissed.

Today I am trialling Passion Boisee, with an eye to another bargain at Peony. Citrus and leather? I don't get the citrus and it's pretty much gone by now, so no to a FB.
