For my eveningtime scent, I have switched into Notturno Fiorentino by Bois 1920. It's a very sweet (vanilla) peppery rose. It's been quite a while since I've worn this.

Tried on a blotter yesterday Le Labo Calone 17 - what a wretched fragrance that is! Not much information on the interwebs on this but it has this chlorine/milky smell like Secretions Magnifiques, you know, like the smell of jizz.

Speaking of words that start with J and ends with two Z's, I'm wearing YSL Jazz today.

Yes, I think they played around the with Black Orchid mixture to give something more overtly feminine and a little lighter to appeal to a larger crowd. I think Black Orchid was a little intense (both in scent and in price) for the average consumer. But, the original is really wonderful.

Very enjoyable scent and theres something in it that I find very unique but the original borders so close on being too feminine already.  One of the few fragrances I've found that gives me pause from time to time.

SL Fleurs d'Oranger today, from a sample. I don't think that this is for me.

Today I am wearing The Afternoon of a Faun. I wasn't a huge fan of this at first, and I think I even gave a sample away. But then I bought more, and have enjoyed it a lot. I've pretty nearly finished my current decant and will probably buy more.

Have been wondering if this scent was suitable for a man. And about its longevity.
