I was close to wearing this one today. Chose Avignon instead.
This morning I pulled a L'Inc and did a preshower of 31 Rue Cambon - what a stunningly beautiful perfume. It recalibrates your database as to what is beautiful after wearing stuff that is good and great but juxtaposed to this perfume they show their weakness. Everyone needs to try this.

Today the weather turns again. A cool, sharp morning followed by a sunny, temperate day. Went with Red Vetyver.

I threw all your rules of fashion to the ground today so needed a sexy scent to go with it: LiquidNight

Okay, time to get caught up a little bit on SOTD (of which I have been behind).

Yesterday I wore Mitsouko parfum. The peachy notes really come out in this concentration. It's amazing.
Today I wore Francis Kurkdjian Oud. This was much smoother and sweeter than I expected.

When I wear it I feel like I've got . . . Bette Davis Eyes.

And how did you find the longevity and Sillage of Rue Cambon?

Timbuktu for me today. Opening is fun. After that, mainly just a pretty good Vetiver to my nose.

One of the knocks against Rue Cambon is its poor longevity. That is certainly my experience.

I'm wearing Iris Poudre today. If I didn't know this was made by Frederic Malle and someone asked me to guess, I wouldn't hesitate in guessing Chanel. It's a wonderful, demure iris.
