Scent/Fragrance of the Day thread - Page 1133

My eveningtime scent is Arabian Wood by Tom Ford. (It was made for a wealthy and famous sheik, we are told!) This is one of the few Tom Fords that I hadn't tried, I think because it started out as a Kuwait exclusive and just slipped under my radar. I am enjoying it very much. There's lots of rose in it.

What do you think of Armani Privee's Rose d'Arabie?  For some reason, pricing in Australia is really good, but reviews say that the rose smells synthetic.  My noobie nose cannot tell the difference.

I am surprised by that, I never for a second associated RdA with synthetic but it was too far on the feminine side for my tastes and similar vibe and occasion wear to PoAL.

You know, I have not tried any of the Armani Privee line. There's no particular reason for that, except that I just haven't gotten around to it.

For the opening day of the Fall 2013 semester, I am giving the start to Une Rose Vermeille.

Just popping up to say I am really enjoying this fragrance. Am afraid to look at the bottle price.

Word is that it's going to be discontinued fairly soon, so if you're interested in buying a bottle, you might want to do it before it becomes rare and the price increases.

From the very start, LP has not been very popular, at least judging to by online fragrance community.

I do like it - I have been searching for a "modern masculine" that I actually liked and this was it. A good summer and springtime scent.

My avatar is an MRI of a beefsteak tomato - it's tomato season and I've been eating lots and lots so I thought I'd express it.

Thanks for the info about Lumiere Blanche. Adding that to my list.

As for beefsteak tomatoes, I did not know they pulsate so.

It's not pulsating but instead these are sequential slices of a whole tomato that was imaged by the MRI.
