Je Suis un Homme is a classic masculine. ELDO has a reputation for being avant garde, and that's certainly justified, but they do classic scents very well too.

How are you liking the two other Divines?

Ok, I need to wear them again to make a definite opinion though. Divine L'homme Sage was great!

Used the 20% off code (LUXisMIN) to grab a bottle of ELDO Je Suis from Min NYC. Planning on at least getting Divine L'homme Sage and Divine L'infante from their site. Just waiting to see what else we like to consolidate shipping. Still have another Surrender to Chance order on the way, plus a bunch of Amouage samples from Aedes, the Atelier sampler, and the Olfactive Studio sampler. Can you tell I'm a little OCD once I get in to something?!?

If any of you like leathers, you need to try Heeley Cuir Pleine Fleur - one of the most beautiful leathers out there. I really need to get a bottle of this because my sample is going to be extinguished today.

Today will be....

TOM FORD AZURE LIME

This news is a couple of months old, but it's new to me: it looks like Dior has discontinued Vetiver, along with Mitzah. (I discovered that as I was looking for information about Gris Montaigne, which I am keen to try.) Some of you--like HORNS--who really like this might want to buy some before the prices skyrocket.

I am wearing Chanel 1932 today. I was really disappointed by this when I tried it in March, but I'm appreciating it much more today. It has that classic Chanel understated elegance and formality. It's more well-rounded, less soapy than I recall.

I have been in a Dior Collection Privee mood lately, so I have switched into Granville for the evening. Now I feel like a man of elegant bearing and demeanor.

Great summer fragrance, no?

It's so strange how ones that I initially reject are the ones that captivate me long-term. I guess it's really no surprise, though, considering that's how many things, from people becoming friends to drinks like gin and tonics, have to "grow" on you.

Tell me. I've been eyeing that one for a while. How well did they execute the oolong notes?
