Deer tongue is a sweet grass. It's not very common, but I think natural perfumers often use it.
I'm a big fan of Divine. Their scents are modern, but very much inspired by the classics. Their feminines are especially this way. Their masculines are very good too; L'Homme Sage got lots of good reviews when it first came out, and deservedly so. L'Homme de Coeur is cool and bracing, and very traditionally masculine, despite the prominence of iris. L'Homme Infini is a very woody, peppery scent that resembles Hermes Poivre Samarcande. The only masculine I'm not a big fan of is L'Etre Aime, which features a very strong immortelle note. It's hard to do immortelle right, IMO, because it really tends to dominate the scent.
