I like 3rd Man a lot too. I gave my bottle away to my dad but I'll have to pick up another.

New York today.

1828 smells pretty close to Gucci Envy.

1725 is also not for me. I do like 1740 which reminds me of Lubin Idole, a boozy scent.

Wearing 1828 again today. I like this one although I haven't tried Gucci Envy to compare. I liked the 1740 but not for when it's 90 degrees outside. I'll try it again when the weather is cooler.

How do you like Portrait of a Lady? You need to try that for yourself too. (Don't be misled by the "Lady" in the name.)

Pre-shower: MDCI Rose de Siwa. From the very first time I tried this, I've been disappointed. I expect better from MDCI. This is just an unremarkable rose.
SOTD: I Love New York For All. I've liked this one since the first time I tried it. Not a top ten or anything, but a very pleasant, informal scent.

I actually got samples of a few Frederic Malle's when I was in Barneys yesterday.

I bought Noir Epices and got samples of Vetiver Extrordinair, B'ois D'Orage, and Portrait of a Lady

I dunno, that rose scent is massive! I'm gonna have to try Vetiver Extraordinaire again because Portrait of a Lady completely overwhelmed it.
