Little off topic, but I just had a realization: if there were a shirt that was like the bottle for Bond No. 9 Chinatown, I would wear it for sure.

I just got a sample vial of Chinatown today. Jesus, this is some good stuff. I'm adding it to my full-bottle wish list and hunting down a decant quick.

I'm not a big fan of Bond No. 9 in general, but Chinatown is definitely a winner.

SOTD: Bleu de Chanel - Forgot how much I like this stuff. I'm not that big on designers, but this is a really good aquatic. It's also a big compliment-getter from girls.

I gotta say, I am already looking forward to the Fall. Summer is nice, and I am having a blast, but nothing compares to the Fall for me. Summer just gets to be a bit of a drag after a month or so, anyway. Plus, I prefer my Fall/Winter wardrobe over my summer one. Not to mention, of course, cool/cold weather frags over warm-weather. I've already started purchasing bottles to start wearing after the summer. I don't buy decants because it is just an outrageous waste of money considering just how liquid the fragrance market is. In my facebook group[s] I can decant off anything I do not like within a matter of days.

Regardless, I've already put in orders for roughly half of these, after which I will slowly pick up one by one leading up to Christmas. Of course I'll be decanting many of these considering there is $4k+ worth of juice here, with 2 of these bottles costing ~$600 each.

Amouage Jubilation XXV

Guerlain Tonka Imperiale

Guerlain Cuir Beluga

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille flacon

Pure Havane

Hermes Ambre Narguile

Bois 1920 Sushi Imperiale

Creed Sublime Vanille

DHI

by Killian - A Taste of Heaven

Serge Lutens Chergui

Puredistance M

Puredistance 1

Dior Amber Nuit
Dior Bois D'Argent
--------------------------

I'm curious what is everyone's biggest compliment getter. I tend to get a lot of comments on Aventus, Ambre Narguile, Chanel Allure Pour Homme, and Sushi Imperiale. As much as I love wearing TF TV and Puredistance M, it simply does not get much love from women. I'll always wear TFTV though. I think it is the best "Alpha" male cologne ever produced.

Tomorrow I'll probably be wearing a Bond - Most likely Coney Island.

Big fan of Avignon - it's a "rounded", as in not harsh at all, incense. I find it very comforting.

Out of my wardrobe, my 2 biggest compliment getters are Terre d'Hermes Parfum & TF Tobacco Vanille. The only 2 woman that I know don't care for it are my wife & my mother.

I think Magnum P.I. had a shirt like what you were talking about.

I think the most consistent compliment-getter is Terre d'Hermes as well, the EdT. The ISO E Super that is more than 50% of this creation really radiates out and captures people's attention. #2 is probably Tuscan Leather.

Today: Chanel Pour Monsieur.

Chinatown. I'm starting to think that this might be too sweet for me to wear all day. Not sure. It's not particularly cloying, so it may be fine. It seems to stay fairly close to my skin but I also didn't apply a whole lot of it.
