Like L'Inc was implying, there are so many ouds out there, and I think L'Artisan Al Aoud is stupendous and surrounded by different supporting ingredients. I don't know what you think about Kouros, but Dior Leather Oud is something to try.
The costus in Kouros is challenging to me (the unwashed hair/skin note...) I can deal with it in small amounts, but unfortunately—at this time—it's a scrubber in larger amounts...
Thanks for the tip on Dior Leather Oud—I'll keep me eye out for it. (It sounds like Al Aoud is a crowd favorite, so I'll definitely check that out at Aedes when I go back—)

I have just noticed you already have it! Oops.
I do love Ormonde Man... The oud note is so subtle it's really just a supportive element to the Hemlock accord. Which is just about the most I can take
