Sorry, not getting the wow factor from this.

I wonder if that's maybe because everything is opposite in Australia? I imagine Dries van Noten is probably a fruity floral there.

I'm wearing Creed Bois de Cedrat for the evening.

It's more likely that my uneducated nose is not picking up the nuances in it. smile.gif

After some spice in the opening, I got mostly vanilla. I preferred Tom over this one.

Most of the reviews I've seen for Dries van Noten haven't been positive, so it looks like you might be in the majority.

Pre-shower: Amyris by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. I feel like I should enjoy this scent more than I do, given the notes.
SOTD: Jeux de Peau. Perfect for an overcast day like today.

SOTD: Fahrenheit

I use to be ambivalent about this stuff but after two plus years of owning it I'm finally getting around to appreciating it more. The petroleum aspect of it is no longer perceptible and instead just a nice floraly, leather mix.

SOTD: Kiton Black. I like it, but it doesn't blow me away. Which is too bad since I received a full bottle as a gift. Still, not a bad summer scent and I like the hint of leather I get out of it.

Trying out Dior Granville again and liking it more - the drydown, though, is a lightly aromatic sea salt smell, and heavy on the sea salt. I've got a jar of coarse sea salt from Brittany at home that smells very, very similar to Granville.

Getting to like MFK's creations more and more.

Pre-shower: Agonist Black Amber. It's a bit too rich for my taste.
SOTD: Le Labo AnOther 13. Haven't worn this one in a while.

What are some additional spring/summer fragrances I should be checking out if my current rotation consists of (in order of preference) Creed Windsor, L'Occitan by L'Occitane (probably my signature scent), Creed GIT, Creed MI, and Creed Aventus?

I think I want something on the floral side and something citrus-oriented. I don't particularly like aquatics.

Today TF Oud Wood (thanks Master-Classter!).

Spring! Given various requests up above one ought to link to (my) former thread of spring recs.

Anyway, in my neighborhood some "april showers" today so need something green that will pair with the humidity... hence Chanel no. 19 EdT (vintage).

Reformulated is wearable, but don't forget that the EdP is NOT just a more concentrated EdT... but instead an entirely different fragrance. I recommend an EdC, EdT, or Parfum... and the more vintage the better. Search for "pre-revolution galbanum" to see why.

Enjoy!

Acqua di Parma - Colonia Assoluta.

SOTD: Chanel pM.

Shalimar edp for the evening. Any guy who's afraid to wear this is of false mind. Sorry to express myself so aggressively, but the people must know the difference between truth and lies (of which are false).
