LOL. I tried Byredo Green on Friday evening, and it too disappeared on me. Must be our warm humid weather?

On the subject of green scents, Philosykos EDP is pretty good, but it disappeared after 2 hours.

I've tested that one a couple of times at Mecca. I should give it another shot, along with Tam Dao.

Make sure it is the EDP not the EDT.  The EDT disappeared on me after 10 minutes.

SOTD: Vintage Vol de Nuit parfum.

I received an unopened 15 ml bottle over the weekend (apparently from 1967, although I'm always a little wary....) It's a bit different from the vintage sample I had; it's definitely brighter up top with a bigger hesperidic note (thanks to it's unopened state, I assume). On fabric, the opening & drydown had a bit of the citrus angle of fresh dried green tea, but with the volume turned up. The rest smells similarly stunning: A warm, low-humming narcotic cloud. This is a V-12 engine on idle; I imagine it to be the olfactory equivalent of shooting heroin.

I know there are some interesting and game-changing modern perfumes, but Facking Hell! what we're losing with the banning or limiting of classical perfume ingredients is shameful...

I've worn Rose Oud the last couple of days. I was out of town for longer than I expected, and that's the only one I brought.

Today, it's Divine by Divine.

Help me choose my next fragrance! biggrin.gif

  1. Creed Tabarome (current, not vintage)
  2. Creed Green Irish Tweed
  3. Creed Silver Mountain Water

{I have Creed Aventus, Cool Water, tons of the MMM Untitled samples, Burberry Brit, and TF Extreme)

I got the last two as gifts, not a huge fan of them to be honest.

SOTD: Grand Neroli by Atelier Cologne

Still mesmerized by MFK Oud. Cannot wait to get samples of the latest 3 mood Ouds.

I'll likely apply some vintage Vol de Nuit parfum as today's scent.

Yesterday - Malle Dries

Today - some random sample from the previous swap with a rubbed off label. It was in a small roll-on bottle with black plastic cap. The frag is very piney and some citrus. Lasts forever on the skin like a full 10 hours. Smells very old school like an Eau Sauvage or old Chanel or something.
ANYONE RECOGNIZE IT?
