How do you like it? There's something in it I can't really enjoy. Apparently it's the pepper even though I don't mind the smell of pepper IRL.
If you enjoy it, I very much recommend you Shams by Memo. It smells similar. The longevity is outstanding. I've given a sample to my father. I once thought he had just applied a different fragrance--yet it was Shams, 24 hours after the original application.

I need to wear Memoir a bit more I think. I wanted something that would have geatt longevity, as I had to go to a do after work. It's still going 14 hours after i put on 2 sprays, but it seems a bit powdery and sweet now, not peppery.

TF Cafe Rose. I often overestimate how much I like a fragrance when it is new to me. But this one has stood the test of time; it is definitely among my very favorites.

Have you guys tried TF's White Suede? Did you like it?

I enjoyed it a lot. It's been over a year though.

Today: Sampling the Artemisia Havana that I've had for the past year. I have the Ondine by the same perfumer, which I find it strangely floral, fresh, and petroleum-like.

Edit: Reading up on Havana, I see that it is made with coffee flower absolute, which is the primary scent in this perfume. Lovely stuff and it's uniquely gourmand.

30 degrees C today. What else but Fahrenheit?

This evening I put on some Amouage Jubilation 25 for women - a beautiful fragrance which I prefer to the XXV for men. For now . . .

Vetiver Extraordiare today. Got to keep up with the summer fragrances while we still have some sunshine.

Kurkdjian samples arrived. Just in time as my Fahrenheit fades off.

Let me just say that the OUD is out of this world.  I will see how it dries down.

I am wearing Dior Vetiver as my late night scent. Anyone who doesn't like it just has to come to terms with it, because I am not going to change my mind at this late hour.

Heyo, I'm just tying up some loose ends with another fragrance event I did and then I'll get the next swap box organized, so it'll probably happen within 2 weeks from now. I'll make a thread, post a link here in the SOTD and then PM a bunch of people as well so stay tuned or PM me in a week or two.

Hmmm, I smelled this one again today actually and it seems rather 'simple', not bad per se, just simple. A light warm clean musk with a bit of smoke, for lack of a better name. On principle I don't believe in layering but I could see this working for that purpose. Curious to here what other people smell in this one.

ohhh boy, now you guys are really making me want to smell these. Looks like I'll have to do some sample ordering satisfied.gif

Today, I went scentless. yep, I still smelled a LOT here and there, but wore nothing myself. I find after a couple days break my nose is much more alert. Don't forget to stop and not smell the roses from time to time.

IIRC it's not overwhelmingly complex, true. I just remember it being a very well balanced fragrance.

The fragrance I'm wearing today is called "Santal Blush". It's a very good fragrance.
