My previously mentioned eBay purchase of Iquitos went bust - seller went AWOL. I found another seller that happened to be a well stocked local discount store. Picked up my bottle yesterday and I'm wearing it today.

Tried on Amouage Tribute Attar today - lovely incense, but how many incense fragrances does a guy need? I respect a person who gets into that because I'm like that with variances of vetiver or leather.

Today's scent is L'Occataine Vetiver.

MFK Silk Oud today - this really is fantastic. I'm tempted to get a bottle and split it up. Anyone interested in getting in on some of it?

I missed the talking out their asses part, but thanks for the list. I've used four of those quite frequently.

I never took you as a lover of Fierce for Men.

Yeah, I'm confused about who, exactly, were talking out of their asses; but that being said, that list is consistent with what I've read elsewhere to be the case as far as percentages.

What do you guys think of roll-ons vs sprays and/or dabbing?

I've read that roll on-samples/flacons are less suited for longer storage since with each application, scales of your skin get mixed into the vial and alter the fragrance.
Fierce was the first fragrance I bought (I used approx. 1/5 and sold it for 80% of retail two/three years later on). I have to admit that it's decent....

Wanted to wear Creed Green Irish Tweed today for Saint Patrick's but all out.
Anyone doing this?

Yes!

I'm wearing the new Frederic Malle Dries van Noten today. I'm liking this very much. It's a warm, spicy, woody scent, but it strikes me as more complex and interesting than recent entries into that genre. The quality of the sandalwood seems really good. It's not a loud scent at all, and I'm pretty sure it would really open up with a liberal application. (I just have a 1ml sample, so I only put on a little.)
