Eau de Rochas Homme for me today.

I'm not really enjoying the MFK Amyris a whole lot. It's an interesting, complex take on a very popular theme. It starts out quite herbal, with a prominent rosemary note. At the very top, it reminds me a bit of L'Homme Libre and fragrances of that sort. But pretty quickly thereafter, you get some really surprising notes, including chocolate and coconut. It's the kind of interesting variation on a theme you should expect from a niche perfumer. Unfortunately, I'm just not a big fan of herbal scents, and in this one the rosemary remains a little too prominent for my taste.

I found it to be unexceptional as well.

Said bottle of PdN New York has arrived into my grubby little hands.

Since I received about 10 different Pm's from people who want this I don't exactly have enough to go around. Anyone who wants either of my TF decants as well please let me know.

AusLiebeZumDuft answered me that the label is blue. Haven't heard back to my replay about the reformulation and change of label colour yet though. Will keep you posted.

There's a lot of love for this at Basenotes, but for the life of me I can't understand it.

Almost everything I thought to recommend is not at Luckyscent!

I'm not sure if you've already tried some of these, but I think you might like:

Kerosene Whips and Roses
Memo Luxor Oud (I was just chatting about that the other day)

And some others that I haven't tried yet, but that look interesting:

Frederic Malle Dries van Noten
Naomi Goodsir Cuir Velours
Naomi Goodsir Bois d'Ascèse
Arquiste Anima Dulcis

grumble...

I added a few more after looking through the website for an hour

Histoires de Parfums 1740

Histoires de Parfums 1826

Amouage Interlude Man

Montale Dark Purple

Montale Moon Aoud

Montale Dark Aoud

Think the Montale's or the Histories would work?
