Chergui - I used to enjoy this one...now, not so much. The hay and amber have become quite cloying to me today. I'm tempted to scrub it off.

Montale Black Aoud

Molecule 01 all over, as usual....


Few days ago I apply some pure Iso-E Super (from the Perfumer's Apprentice), in an oil base... I think it was pretty potent stuff. Anyway, it smelled a bit like vinegar and gave me a headache all day. Not the first time I've done this either lol.

L'Homme Sage

Creed Original Vetiver today.

This was a blind buy on fragrancex. It was a bit of a risk, as they've had a horrible rep for sloooow shipping in the past. I'm pleased to report that shipping took 9 days from NY to Australia, and it was free too!

This evening: Mitsouko parfum.

I just got a sample from premiere avenue. It's very nice and soft but the vanilla is a bit too present for my taste. Reminds me a bit of TF Wood Oud on the dry down. I like their regular Oud better or any by killian

SOTD: Coromandel.

Today was JPG Le Male.

I'm not that in love with it. I always think it's a little too juvenile but I still always get multiple compliments on it even from the mature crowd. And besides,it's a great winter scent.

I have samples of all 3 new releases on order. I'd heard good things about Cashmere, but I'm really looking forward to trying the oud/rose Silk scent.
