I understand that the latest reformulation was late 2011, but, like Rambo said, it's been messed around with for a while now...

Oakmoss and bergamot are restricted by IFRA, and verbena (and lemon, and lime) oil is banned... confused.gif

If it's any consolation, I always laugh when I think of that story.

Bit the bullet today and sampled ELdO's Afternoon of a Faun. It smells exactly like a mild curry. Maybe it's the pepper and cinnamon notes I'm smelling.

EDIT: Did a little research on this, and I think what I'm smelling is immortelle, which has notes of fenugreek and curry.

It's pleasant, but not spectacular. I'm not a big vetiver fan, and despite its name CDVS has enough else going on that I enjoy it. At times, I catch something that reminds me alternately of Poivre Pirquant and Tea for Two.

Annick Goutal - Ambre Fétiche parfum for the evening.

Aventus today, seems like it's not as long lasting as it once used to be on me... maybe my body chemicals is changing or something.

Went to the perfume shop here and chatted with the perfume lady, got some new samples of Parfumerie Generale to test out as well.
