No, it's way out of my comfort zone regarding the price. This doesn't stop my from buying samples though. The Saffron Rose I've tried at KaDeWe. All four fragrances I've tried so far are excellent, imo.

Is it available worldwide? Didn't see it at KaDeWe, but also didn't look out for it since I didn't know it existed. Will have a look at the Tom Ford stand at Alsterhaus tomorrow.

The release date I've seen for Sahara Noir is February 2013. I haven't seen it anywhere, but a few people have tried it and have talked about it on Basenotes. I've heard it's very similar to Amber Absolute, which they recently discontinued. (Sahara Noir is from the Signature Series, though, not the Private Blends.)

Yep, my heart skipped a beat when I read that it's similar to AA (not really, but I was excited nonetheless). However, they wrote it's like GBP 100 for 50ml, which is quite steep for TF's signature series.
