Happy birthday, Bryan!

Today, I tried Ambre des Merveilles and enjoyed it. For the evening, Santal Blush -- good as always.

@Californai Dreamer: What's your take on Santal Majuscule?

Haven't tried it yet. The above are all samples I just got and am keen to try out.

Fahrenheit by Christian Dior (1988)

It's and oldie but goodie.  Haven't worn it in over a year and put a spray on today.  Just one spray and its terrific.  I realize you can't wear it frequently, but when you do it does a great job.  Great price point too.

Oh, okay. Let me know once you've tried it. If I were you, I'd probably wear Tobacco Vanille, Chergui or Santal Majuscule to a BBQ.

I'm thinking maybe TF Tobacco Vanille or Creed MI, but here is my full set of choices:

Creed MI
TF Tobacco Vanille
Monegal Agar Musk
Monegal Ambra di Luna
Monegal Cuirelle
Monegal Mon Patchouly
Blenheim Bouquet
SL Chergui
SL Santal Majuscule
PG Djhenne
Tauer L'Air du Desert Marocain
Tauer Lonestar Memories
MF Kurkdjian Oud
Etat Libre d'Orange Afternoon of a Faun

I'm open to try any one of these. Which do you think?

TIA.

WTF is this shit? You're going to a bar b que. Dab a bit of KC Masterpiece behind your ears and on a line down your chest and call it a day!

Le Labo Patchouli 24 is a perfect barbeque fragrance - that shit's MSG for the air around you when eating barbeque.

+1

I was gonna say the same thing! For me, Patchouli 24 is definitely an outdoor fragrance—barbecues, walking in the woods on a chilly day, that sort of thing...

SOTD: Piguet Bois Noir. It's ok; seems derivative of CdG 2 Man and other cedar-heavy frags, though. Still waiting for the patchouli to supposedly kick in during the drydown...
