Pre-shower: Tangeri. I've been giving the Keiko Mecheri Bespoke line another try lately, but I'm still not enjoying it very much. As I've said before, I like her regular lineup quite a bit better.

SOTD: Tauer Incense Rose.

I really need to try Incense Rose. L'Inc, do you find it anything similar to Portrait of a Lady?

This morning I'm trying out for the first time Hermessence Santal Massoia - I really like this stuff and am considering getting a travel set they offer of four of their scents: Vetiver Tonka, Santal Massoia, Osmanthe Yunnan, and something else.

Despite the common notes, they are actually quite different. The main player in Incense Rose is frankincense, which I find smoother and sweeter than the incense in PoaL. Having both of these wouldn't be redundant at all.

Spending the day at home never stops me from wearing a fragrance. Also, "lighting up the Noel candle" sounds like a euphemism.

I've switched into Divine L'Homme Infini for the evening. I still have a good opinion about this one: it's a very nicely-executed modern masculine.

I was looking for a nice winter candle and found a Dyptique holiday coffret that I think works well. The three fragrances—Opoponax, Oliban, and Feu de Bois—work well individually, of course, but I was surprised at how well all three work together. Beautiful, sweetly resinous, and smoky.

I'm still looking for a nice holiday candle with a piney scent, so I'll check out the Annick Goutal—Thanks.

Pre-shower: CdG Red Rose. This, along with Caraceni 1913, is one of my biggest rose disappointments.
