Have you tried Incense Oud by Bond no. 9? Or Dark Rose by Czech & Speake? Or Midnight Oud by Juliette Has a Gun? I don't really remember Black Aoud anymore other than not really liking it, but checking fragrantica/BN the most prominent note seems to be rose, so I'd give these a try (in case you haven't already). Maybe Lyric Man by Amouage.
Nonetheless, given that you're so fond of it, I might give it another try.

Colonia Intensa > Colonia Assoluta

Assoluta's a bit dry, and just as fleeting on me as the regular Colonia. Intensa's the only one that's able to make it more than a few hours.

SOTN: Amber Oud by Kilian. A bit ambivalent on this one. It's a tad too sweet to my taste.

Never mind, I mixed it up with Aoud Leather. The recommendations still hold though for an oud-y scent with a focus on rose.

L'Inc, what do you think of this?

I'm not a big fan, to be honest. The top is tart and fruity, which to my nose is something appropriate for a young woman. (I was about to say a teenage girl, but that's not fair. It's more grown-up than that. But it is a young scent.) As the top notes dissipate, it becomes a pretty floral, with white florals playing the lead role, supported by a sweet vanilla base. If pretty fruity floral is what you're looking for, then I think this would be a good option. But that's not a genre that's especially compelling to me.

For anyone in the market for Creeds, Walgreens is running 20% off on all fragrances right now, including the creeds.

SOTD: AdP Colonia Intensa Oud. Surprisingly perfect to me.

Today: Eau Sauvage because it is cold and rainy and I need something fresh.

Interesting. Why?

Gave Cologne du Maghreb another try. Again, very disappointed. Spiced it up with some Colonia Intensa -- had a dirty cumin/civet-y smell. Quite interesting.

Then I broke my sample (glass bottle) of Eau Noire. So I ultimately had to wear it for the day. Fortunately it's none of my favorites so I can bare the loss. At least I have a piece of paper towel that smells like Eau Noire. I'm undecided on my SotN yet.

Have you tried the regular Colonia Intensa? I think it's better. The oud-variation is interesting but not necessary, imo.
