Kouros today. I think I wear this every few months just to remind myself how crazy this is. I mean, I don't think I've ever sprayed this on without being taken aback by the sheer brutality. I can't believe this is a mainstream scent that's been in circulation for 30 years. I walked out of the restroom after applying it and my wife backed away from me like I was surrounded by a powerful electro magnetic field. It's kinda magical.

I have to admit I laughed at the bolded part.

Aw Jeez. I have a big soft spot for the Vasnier / Mouchel collaborations of the past. I might have to give this one a spin.

Cold morning, Knize Ten. Good thing, too, I might be a tad overloaded on this one, considering how seldom it gets this cold.

I sprayed Musc Kublai Khan on my wrist yesterday evening and it's still on me this morning. I didn't get all the nastiness that so many others talk about but instead get that overload of cumin that makes people think of nastiness. To me it smells like my kitchen when I'm making chili con carne.

Came here to post the same thing...man it's a fine line not to knock myself out with this one.

How do you like it?

For me, Jubilation XXV for the day. Now I'll try to find my sample of Odeur 71. Found it, now wearing it.

Yerbamate? I like it--it's a weird green that I don't often reach for, but find I'm always pleasantly surprised by. One of my lunch companions clearly didn't like it, though he seemed to assume that the waitress was wearing it.

Yes, it's indeeed weird.

Odeur 71 is quite nice. From the listed notes I get the bay laurel, hyacinth, frankincense, resin. I'm still not sure how I feel about the synthetic feel to it. But it's a good scent and good value.
