EdT. After some online reading it didn't appear that the EdP was available anywhere near me, and I liked it so much that it didn't really seem worth it to bother trying to order another sample from somewhere. Are they very different?

The edt is just a touch softer and more feminine than the edp IMO. But you can't go wrong with either.

Good to know. Maybe it's the softness that's alluring. There's definitely something "comfortable" about the way it smells. Sort of like you're settling back into an old chair.

KISS Him for the evening. Apparently I did not get enough cumin from Rochas Femme this morning.

Eau de Guerlain today for the return of the Santa Ana winds and temps rising back up into the high 80's and beyond. This stuff has amazing longevity for eau de cologne. There's something slightly synthetic in the lemony note that lasts all day, but only at point blank range. Even from a few inches away it's lovely.

Trying CK encounter which will likely stay a one time affair...

Using the last of a sample of Isabey Ambre D'Carthage for a cool day. Probably my favorite amber so far...really narcotic and definitely not something to wear in the office.

What do you think of it? I happen to like it a lot mainly because it triggers several pleasant scent memories in me from childhood that have absolutely nothing to do with this or any other perfume.

So I forgot to put any on while leaving the house (I wanted to wear Amber Abolute but neglected actually putting it on), so at the office I found a tester of Angel edt and sprayed lightly. I couldn't imagine wearing this and having to discern scents in anything else.

I remember when I tried the Angel Liquor de Parfum, that was a big sillage monster and I enjoyed it immensely, when I wasn't being self-conscious.

I'm a very big fan too. In fact, Dans tes Bras has been honored with a couple of opening day starts. (I think of the first day of the semester like the opening day of baseball season.) But because there are so many other fragrances I also love, I don't wear it as often as I should.

So freaking hot it L.A. right now, wearing Declaration. I may have gassed out my kid's pre-school teacher this morning, but that may have just been because she's a bit of a hippie and would recoil from any perfume. Or maybe it was my breath. But a few minutes later one of the hot moms asked me what I was wearing and told me I smelled like heaven.devil.gif

It reminds me of my childhood as well, the smell of soaps when I was a kid and my mom getting me ready for school. I have the Vintage version of this scent and it appears quite feminine and doesn't last more than 30 minutes on my skin. It's not worthy of a full bottle but a nice change of pace nonetheless.
