Today CdG Harissa - I really like this scent. It was my memento purchase from the flagship store in Tokyo and I must say I'm happy with it personally and realized the first day I wore it to work got three compliments. It's weird what evokes people's response.

Amouage - Lyric Man. This is just a great rose scent. Citrus in the top notes, sweet-woody in the drydown (and angelika, which I`m not sure what it smells like though). One of my favorite rose scents so far. Unfortunately, it makes my nose tickle and I've sneezed quite a few times today. However, I do not recall this happening to me the last times I wore it. Probably it's just cause I have a cold.
How do you like it, L'Inc?

Nicolai New York today, really doesn't suit me. I think I'm going to buy CDG 2 man for an everyday summer wearer

Still have yet to smell this.

I think New York can catch you off guard the first time you smell it because it's quite conventional - not surprising or off-beat in the way of so many niche scents. It's reminiscent of classics like Jicky, or Chanel Pour Monsieur or even Eau Sauvage. It's beautifully composed, balanced and versatile. I love it and can wear it in any weather for any occassion, but can see how some might find it old-fashioned or unremarkable.

Your description of this scent makes me want to track it down. I'll have to keep my eyes open.

Thanks for the elaboration, and I had a suspicion that it New York was like that considering Turin's taste and his opinion of this scent.

wore knize 10 today because the girlfriend wasn't around as the "burning rubber" is not an approved scent.

Local Nordstrom just picked up the entire Bond No.9 line, so got to do some testing and get a bunch of decants yesterday.

RIverside Drive today.

Baron's description of New York is exactly how I feel about it. I don't mind the scent unremarkable, but more old-fashioned and I suppose not really suitable for me when I'm wearing a t shirt and jeans everyday in college. I suppose I just don't see myself wearing it in any situation right now

Serge Lutens L'eau for this sunny friday the 13th
