I am disproportionate in my shoulders vs chest. That is to say that my shoulders typically fit size 40 jackets, while my chest is a 42. I'm 5'8 1/2" and a very non-svelte 190lbs. I have been buying 42's, but other than very slim shouldered designs (Armani), the shoulders are too large. Conversely, 40's fit great in the shoulders, but I cant even button some of them due to my large chest.
Okay, a permanent fix would be to stop eating so many tortilla chips, and instead replace them with 100 military presses per day. Alas, I work more than full time....plus, I don't want to gym out all the time.
So, my options are now to either start buying 40's and hope that they can be let out enough to fit my chest, or take a few of my 42's in for the dreaded shoulder surgery, which apparently is very difficult to do correctly.
What am I to do?
