Are you getting bored with your yacht? - Page 6
The tender in the Octopus was one of three commissioned by a client of Mine for Paul Allen, this is the water limosene and is used to ferry passengers to and from the Yacht. I was invited on it when it underwent sea trials and is an amazing little boat. Imagine an old style 1920's rolls royce on water with a u shape lounge in the back of high quality leather with the cockpit out the front of the cabin. The builder was Vikal International of Perth, Western Australia. He also built a dive tender (with top speed of 45 knots, that could stop on a dime - the water completely engulfed the boat when it stopped when we did sea trials - it was amazing) for Allen that can leave the yacht for 5 days at a time with 2 state rooms and a crew of 3, They flew in Microsoft engineers to install a state of the art (at that time) computer system at a cost of $1.5M alone!
