I got some Starogardzka vodka as a gift. Haven't opened it yet... should I serve it to my friends or save it for myself?

If this is the one you're talking about do neither. It's the lowest level of vodka and only lushes drink that stuff in Poland. Stay away, give it to your annoying neighbor for Christmas.

Chopin or Belvedere would be a totally different story.
Use it for cocktails
