1. Should you condition, wax, or polish a waterproof shoe? Won't putting stuff on the waterproof coating defeat the purpose of buying a waterproof shoe? Then again what will you do

What kind of products would I use for this shoe? I wouldn't use shoe polish or wax would I? The shoe looks too matte for that
