FS: 2 new ties - Isaia 7 fold paisley + Holliday& Brown black grenadine

For sale today are 2, dare I say it, decadent ties in brand new condition. Got them last week even though I wasn't shopping for ties at all. The patterns are fantastic; it's a plus that they come from 2 of the forum's favorite makers. Too bad I don't wear ties often enough, so here they are looking for a good home.

Isaia 7-fold: navy w/ red paisley, 3.85" at widest point. MSRP $225, here for $80

Holliday & Brown: black grenadine, 3.75" at widest point. SOLD

The H&B

The grenadine is just striking, unlike anything I've ever seen. Very hard to take photos of though, pictures don't do it justice.

The H&B is very nice but not technically a grenadine tie. More like a basket weave. Are the "pindots" white or silver on black?

that isaia is my favorite tie. i have that exact same one from chorse. this is a tie that is worth its retail price. very decadent. woven paisley. nothing like it.

Ah, just thought I acquired the ever elusive grenadine. It's a white "pindots" (?) over black pattern FYI.

Brian, thank you for the kind words. It was your curious quest for a CF paisley that drew my attention to paisley ties after all.

The H&B has been sold.

Asking price for the Isaia has been reduced to $80.

Just a quick note: it appears that the venerable chorse123 and Vman each sold 2 or 3 ties in this very model a month ago. At this rate, the Isaia 7-fold paisley might become the unofficial SF tie very soon. Get it while you can...

I have experienced people describing ties like the H&B tie as "closed grenadines." I don't know what means, because it definitely seemed like a pindot or "nailhead" like effect.
