Have you had, a delicious, donut ? And so, where was, the most delicious 1? I found, that the places, that advertise for donuts (such Dunky Donuts), are not so great. In the personal, the most delicious I had, was of a small bakery in, the Port of Chester (NY). Simple, with cinnamon &, sugar.

Kingpin Donuts, Berkeley, California. Best when a new batch would come out of the oven, ideally after midnight.

i like the old -fashioned heavy cake ones with glaze when i am in the mood for a heavier donut.

for a lighter donut, i like a hot out of the fryer krispy kreme regular donut . although they are very overrated and such, i still like a good krispy kreme.

I work in the publix bakery. I hate donuts. I hate selling them even more. I feel terrible knowing i'm contributing to giving people in gainesville diabeties. I wish i had bartender rights where i can refuse to sell to someone because it would harm them.

Daily Dozen in Warren, MI. I made the mistake of bringing them back to NYC and now when I'm there on business I'd better not return empty handed. Mom and Pop store and they are never greasy. They actually do a French Cruller which is filled with custard and topped with chocolate. Best donut I've ever had.

Ooh, those are good. I ate them just as you described, late at night, straight out of the oven, when I was a young and irresponsible college student experimenting with some of the party favors that Berkeley is famous for.

Bob's on Polk St. in SF is good too, at least it was when I was driving for Super Shuttle in the 80's.

Third picture down, left hand side. Yes, it is a bacon maple-bar. Hands down the best doughnut in the world.

As Canadians have more doughnut shops per capita than any other country in the world, you'd have to think Tim Hortons would know a thing or two about fried dough ...
