Skyy’s ok, its much better than say Absolut, that stuff is just terrible. If you didn’t get a headache, you didn’t drink enough.

Absolut is absolute shit, especially for being a more expensive (compared to Skyy) vodka. I found that Grey Goose also is pretty shitty, but when looking to just get sick nothin says party like Burnetts or Monarch (go big, get the 3Liter plastic bottle).

I have earned some interesting free alcohols over the years of parties. At a house warming party for my second appartment, my neibor brought me a bottle of Monarch vodka and a plastic 5th of 'Royal Gentleman' blended whisky (I think). That RG looked so awful (something like light brown hobo sweat came to mind) that I didnt open it. My little bro took it to display in his room, as a joke.

I've always liked Skyy the most. Grey Goose is fine too but way too much money. In college, people raged about Stoli but it never went down any smoother than Smirnoff, which I often buy on sale and freeze.

Stoli is the Corona of russia - an import for the sake of being an import. just like heinekin(spelling?). for my money - Luksusowa, polish potato vodka, is much better than most mentioned.

Finlandia, Moskovskaya Kristall and Wyborowa are in my rotation. Forget the greygooses, vodka should come from a country where people actually can drink it.

Belvedere should be nominated for the most beautiful vodka label ever.

Absolut = I'd rather drink brake fluid
Stoli = near peasant swill
Grey Goose = they musta filtered the living piss out of that spirit
insert_the_name_of_polish_vodka_here =
Yuri Dolgoruki = superb when brought in directly from Moscow. Vomit inducer after purchased locally
Karahunj ( Armenian mulberry vodka ) = now that would make your toes curl
Russian Standard = comes in 3 grades. Not sure which one is imported here. On my to-be-explored list.
Finlandia = square deal for your $
Smirnoff = acceptable choice for a starving student

Although I have not tried it, my friends who appreciate fine spirits say Hangar One makes a pretty good Vodka...

Hangar One is an excellent vodka. I always suggest it to those that can find it.
