RIP Stoli

It has not been made in Russia or form Russian wheat for almost a decade now.
How do they manage to pass it for Russian vodka is beyond me.
Similar story to Dominican Cigars with Cuban names on them.

Boycott fake products: Fake Russian vodka is just as bad for you as fake Kiton.

Wrong. It used to be my favorite vodka, but it is not produced in Russia just like Stoli.

The only one made in Russia is "Imperia" and sold on Russian market under much better name of "Russian Standart".

I see you too thrive on Briton Beach ...

On an aside, I love the graphic labels of the Russian vodkas:

When I was in Saint Petersburg, I drank a vodka by the same name. I don't think it's the best vodka in the world, but it was okay.

Stoli tastes like shit anyway. Everone has pretty different vodka preferences though.

I like Belvedere, Chopin as well. Stoli is only good to get really drunk on the cheap without buying utter crap.

Jon.

Which one you prefer though?

I second Skyy vodka. It is a very decent product from a very indecent city.
I would say among inexpensive vodkas my hands down favorite would be Finlandia.

I preferred Tanqueray Vodka anyway. Or Zubrowka, the midstream bison vodka.

I'm not really that picky about vodka. Where I'm from, vodka isn't that big anyway - if we're going to drink something neat, we drink rakija (raki). The rakija we drink is homemade.
