Agreed. One of the many things that makes SF different from other forums (not just clothing) is that the owner would do this for a member rather than spend the time trying to line his own pocket with kickbacks or freebies. Says a lot about J.

You know, I put my name on the petition because I thought Jan deserved it. I did not put my name on it expecting anything would actually come of it, despite AE's outstanding reputation for customer service. Even though they didn't name a new shoe after Jan (and I guess it was a bit much to expect, as grand a gesture as it was from J), this is more than I would ever have thought would happen. Congrats, Jan...you deserve them!

It goes to show brand loyalty can pay off. It sounds like a wonderful color combination I want to see a picture of those insoles. Do you plan on wearing them? These are almost what I would consider museum pieces. Thanks for making AE's an icon on SF and AAAC.
